Professor Ian Frazer's family foundation is assisting young Vanuatu women between 9 and 15 years to take the vaccine and greatly reduce cervical cancer and mouth and throat cancers. Clinics can advise. The Auditor General John Path has pointed out to government the fact of his department being under-resourced. His office has done splendid and respected work recently and it is to be hoped he can be granted the extra staff needed. His request to have the department made an office of state surely merits serious consideration.
