Public Prosecutor John William Timakata was able to indicate that the legal representatives of all the defendants were advised of the findings of the inquiry and were present. However, the lawyer acting for a newly indicated local businessman defendant in the matter was able to obtain a delay owing to his imminent absence and it was also observed that the Appeal Court will be sitting in just a few weeks. As such it was also arranged that the Magistrates' Court will again sit on 14 July to decide on a new definitive date for the preliminary enquiry. Persons are forbidden to interfere with witnesses, either directly or indirectly, and with the Public Prosecutor. bobmakin | June 23, 2015 at 2:19 pm | Categories: The News, Digested | URL: http://wp.me/p2A4RK-CI Comment See all comments Like Unsubscribe to no longer receive posts from Vanuatu Daily Digest.
